Overview
Categorized as an outdoor cooker, the Yukon Glory YG-1456B is described in the product data as a set of 3 mini grill baskets, stainless steel and sized at 13 by 9 by 4 inches for charcoal grilling.
The category label suggests a standalone cooker, but the attribute data points to a set of three mini baskets meant to sit on an existing charcoal grill grate. That makes them an accessory for cooking smaller or loose foods like shrimp, sliced vegetables or diced potatoes without losing pieces through the grate. Fuel type is listed as charcoal, matching the direct heat style these baskets are built for.
- Set of 3 mini grill baskets
- Stainless steel construction
- Built for charcoal grilling
- Compact 13 x 9 x 4 in size
Who it's for
Fits charcoal grillers who regularly cook smaller cuts, shellfish or vegetables that would otherwise fall through the grate. Not a fit if you need to cook whole fish, large roasts or anything too big for a mini basket.
Pros and cons
- Set of 3 baskets for multiple portions
- Stainless steel handles direct charcoal heat
- Compact 13 x 9 x 4 in storage
- Sized for small foods, not large cuts
- Requires an existing grill, not a standalone cooker
Performance notes
Mini baskets keep small or loose pieces of food contained over direct charcoal heat, which prevents them from slipping through standard grill grates. Stainless steel construction stands up to repeated direct char heat better than coated metals.
