Overview
The Rush 40-0001 is a fishing rod rack built from engineered wood and metal, weighing 16.5 pounds and finished in black. It ships as a single unit meant to store multiple rods off the floor or wall rather than in a single rod holder.
At over 16 pounds for one rack, this is a substantial storage piece rather than a lightweight clip-on holder, pointing to a floor standing or wall mounted design meant to hold several rods at once. The mixed wood and metal build suggests a frame construction rather than an all metal rack.
- Engineered wood and metal construction
- 16.5 pound single unit
- Black finish
Who it's for
Anglers with a garage, shed or tackle room who want a dedicated place to store several rods upright rather than leaning them in a corner. Less useful for anyone needing a compact rack for a boat or a single travel rod.
Pros and cons
- Solid build weight suggests stability
- Combines wood and metal construction
- Exact rod capacity not listed
- Mounting method not specified in the listing
Performance notes
The engineered wood and metal build gives the rack weight and stability for holding multiple rods without tipping, though the listing does not specify exactly how many rods it holds or its mounting method.
