Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Raw Lamb Meal Mixers 3.5 oz

Overview

Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Raw Lamb Meal Mixers is a 3.5 oz topper made from 95 percent grass-fed lamb, organs and bone, meant to be sprinkled over regular food rather than fed as a standalone meal.

As a mixer rather than a complete diet, this product is meant to add raw nutrition and flavor to an existing bowl of food, which makes it more of an add-on purchase than a food replacement. The grain-free, small-breed-oriented sizing suggests it is built with picky or small dogs in mind, where a stronger-smelling topper can coax more eating. Organic fruits and vegetables and probiotics round out the ingredient list according to the listing, alongside the core lamb, organ and bone content.

• 3.5 oz freeze-dried raw lamb topper
• 95 percent grass-fed lamb, organs and bone
• Grain-free, sized for small breeds
• Includes organic fruits, vegetables and probiotics

Who it's for

Good for owners of small breeds or picky eaters who want to boost the appeal of kibble without switching foods entirely. Not meant to replace a dog's primary diet on its own.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Being freeze-dried keeps the raw lamb, organ and bone content shelf-stable without refrigeration, and rehydrating or crumbling it over kibble is the intended way to use it as a mixer. The 95 percent lamb, organs and bone ratio is meant to concentrate flavor and nutrition into a small amount, which is why it is sold as an add-on rather than a full meal.
