Overview
A 30 inch plastic baseball bat and ball set from Franklin's MLB Pro Style line, licensed with Major League Baseball branding. It is built as backyard and casual play equipment, sized and weighted for kids rather than regulation team use.
This is a lightweight plastic set rather than a training or league bat, closer in purpose to a backyard whiffle-ball setup than serious practice gear. The appeal is the MLB licensing and the included plastic ball, which together make it a ready-to-play bundle for a birthday or backyard gathering rather than something to research for performance.
- 30 inch lightweight plastic bat
- Includes a matching plastic baseball
- Textured grip handle styled after a pro bat
- Officially licensed MLB product
Who it's for
Families wanting an easy, low-cost bat and ball set for backyard games, home run derbies or a kid's party. Not a substitute for a real bat for players already in organized teeball or Little League.
Pros and cons
- Comes as a complete set with a matching plastic ball
- Lightweight 30 inch bat easy for young kids to swing
- MLB licensed branding for fans of the pro game
- Plastic construction, not rated for organized league play
- No official teeball or Little League certification listed
Performance notes
The plastic construction and 30 inch length keep the bat light enough for young kids to swing freely, with the textured grip handle meant to mimic the feel of a wood or aluminum bat without the weight. Because it comes with its own plastic ball, the set is meant to be used together rather than paired with a standard hardball or teeball.
