Overview
Twin elastic gore panels let the Skechers Nampa Groton slide on and off without laces, while an SRO rated outsole grips wet, oily and greasy floors. A removable memory foam insole cushions the shift, and the synthetic leather upper wipes clean.
Slip-on convenience with certified grip and electrical hazard protection suits fast moving service jobs. The relaxed fit and missing safety toe limit it for narrow feet and heavy industry.
Who it's for
Cooks, servers and hospital staff who change shoes often and want grip on slick floors. Narrow footed wearers or anyone needing toe protection should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Slips on with gore panels
- SRO rated grip on greasy floors
- Electrical hazard safe
- Removable memory foam insole
- Safety toe not listed
- Roomy fit may suit narrow feet poorly
- Laces cannot fine tune the fit
Performance notes
Traction on slick floors comes from the SRO rated outsole pattern, which is made to hold on wet and greasy surfaces. Fit relies on the twin gore panels, so the shoe holds the foot by elastic tension instead of laces.
