Overview
Wearing it alone or with the matching suspenders, the Helikon-Tex Foxtrot Mk2 belt rig carries gear from a main compartment with open-top bottle pockets. A partial hip belt adds MOLLE/PALS points for pouches.
Modular attachment points let the rig grow with a med kit, knife or cargo pouch, and suspenders spread the load across the body. The fabric is not water resistant, so weather protection must be added.
Who it's for
Carrying water, a med kit and tools on the hips in a bushcraft or field setting is the use. Anyone wanting a plain belt, or full weather protection, should skip it.
Pros and cons
- Modular MOLLE/PALS hip belt
- Open-top sewn bottle pockets
- Suspenders can share the load
- Cordura 500D fabric
- Not water resistant
- Hand wash only
- Suspender inclusion not stated
Performance notes
Load carriage depends on how heavily the main compartment and pouches are filled. Suspenders move weight from the hips to the shoulders and torso, and the hook-and-loop adjustment at the back sets how firmly it hugs the body.
