Overview
The SKIL SPT70V-11 is a saw from SKIL's tools lineup, weighing in at 27.3 pounds. That heft points to a benchtop or table-style saw rather than a handheld model, built for shop use over site work.
SKIL has built its saw range around approachable pricing rather than trade-grade toughness, and the SPT70V-11 sits in that tradition.
- 27.3 pound tool weight
- 4.7 average rating
Who it's for
Suits a home workshop owner or DIYer who wants a saw for occasional cutting rather than daily trade use. Less suited to a contractor needing documented cut capacity or motor specs confirmed before purchase.
Pros and cons
- Steady recent purchase volume
- Bench-friendly weight for one-person setup
- Blade size and motor power not listed here
- Fence and cutting capacity unconfirmed
Performance notes
At 27.3 pounds, this saw sits in a range that a single person can lift onto a bench or stand but that still suggests a stationary or semi-stationary design rather than a lightweight handheld tool.
