Overview
The BBQration SG_B077XTRMGW_US is a black cast iron grill part built for charcoal grills, weighing just over two pounds.
Cast iron is chosen for grill components mainly for how it holds and radiates heat, which helps with searing once fully preheated. The listing ties this part to charcoal fuel and gives its weight and finish, but it does not name which grill models it's built to fit.
- Material: cast iron
- Color: black
- Weight: 2.02 lb
- Fuel type: charcoal
Who it's for
Fits owners of charcoal grills who need a cast iron replacement part matching this weight, black finish and material. Not a fit for anyone who needs the listing to confirm compatibility with a specific grill brand or model first.
Pros and cons
- Cast iron holds heat well for searing
- Built specifically for charcoal fuel systems
- No compatible grill models are named
- Exact function of the part isn't stated
Performance notes
Cast iron heats slowly but holds that heat well once hot, which is why it's common on grates and searing surfaces for charcoal grills. At just over two pounds, this part is substantial enough to retain heat rather than a thin, lightweight accessory.
