Overview
A 3-pack round replacement refrigerator water filter for the Samsung DA29-00020B / HAF-CIN filter family, using a coconut shell carbon block certified to NSF 42 and 372. Fits the RF, RS and RFG model fridges listed by Waterspecialist, not the square HAF-QIN filter.
The filter shape is round, not square, so it will not fit fridges built for the DA97-17376B / HAF-QIN cartridge - check your old filter before ordering. Coconut shell carbon is the stated filtration media, rated for 6 months or 300 gallons, and each filter ships with a date sticker to track replacement timing. Sold as a 3-pack, which is the main cost advantage over ordering single filters.
- Coconut shell carbon block media
- NSF 42 and 372 certified
- 6-month / 300-gallon rated life
- 3 filters per pack
Who it's for
Suits Samsung refrigerator owners whose original filter is the round DA29-00020B or HAF-CIN cartridge, especially anyone replacing filters across the RF26, RF28 or RS25/RS26 series listed as compatible. Not for fridges that take the square HAF-QIN filter.
Pros and cons
- Tool-free install matching the original filter
- 3-pack lowers per-filter cost
- NSF 42 and 372 certified filtration
- Date sticker tracks replacement timing
- Round shape only, not a universal fit
- Rated life caps at 6 months or 300 gallons
- New filters need an initial water flush
Performance notes
Filtration runs through a coconut shell carbon block, which the brand states is certified to NSF 42 for taste, odor and chlorine reduction and NSF 372 for lead-free construction. Waterspecialist rates the cartridge for 6 months or 300 gallons, whichever comes first, with a printed date sticker to track when it needs swapping. Installation is described as tool-free, matching the twist-in design of the original Samsung filter.
