Overview

Not a boot sold without a blade, this men's Jackson Freestyle comes with the Aspire XP blade attached. The lightweight Fusion sole resists torque, and the Elite last gives toes room while locking the heel.

Male skaters get a ready-to-skate setup with comfort touches at the tongue and ankle. Missing warranty details and the softer build limit it for advanced jumping.

Who it's for

Adult beginners and developing male skaters suit this pair. Skaters landing advanced jumps need a stiffer boot.

Pros and cons

Pros

Lightweight, flexible upper
Shock-absorbing sole inlay
Lace slits hold the tongue
Heel lock from the last

Cons

Warranty not listed
Stiffness rating not given
Decorative crystals on a men's skate

Performance notes

Ankle support comes from the U-shaped cuff and back height, which allow bending without giving way. Blade stability depends on the rubber-inlaid sole mount and the reinforced heel.
