Overview
A 52 inch padded replacement shoulder strap with metal hooks, adjustable from 29.6 to 53.7 inches, made to fit bags whose original strap broke or is missing.
The metal hooks are meant to clip onto the D-rings already on a briefcase, laptop case, duffel or messenger bag rather than requiring any bag modification, and the 2.9 inch wide pad is removable.
- 52 inch strap, adjustable 29.6 to 53.7 inches
- Metal hook snaps for existing D-rings
- 2.9 inch wide removable shoulder pad
- Nylon construction
Who it's for
Fits someone whose bag came with a strap that broke, wore thin or was lost, as a drop-in replacement rather than a first-time accessory for a bag that never had a shoulder strap. Not a fit for a bag without existing metal D-ring attachment points.
Pros and cons
- Lighter duty than some original bag straps, per one reviewer
- One buyer's clip needed several presses before closing properly
Performance notes
Metal hook snaps at each end clip onto a bag's existing D-rings, and a metal buckle adjusts the length from 29.6 to 53.7 inches. The 8.1 inch removable shoulder pad is meant to ease pressure on longer carries.
