Overview
BLACK+DECKER built this model as a portable top-load washer that connects to a kitchen or bathroom sink through a quick connect adapter and empties through an included drain hose. Roller wheels and side handles let it move to a storage closet between washes.
A range of wash programs, adjustable water levels and a stainless tub give real washing control in a unit that rolls away when laundry is done. Washing is cold water only and the load limit is small, so towels and bedding take several rounds.
Who it's for
Renters and small households with a nearby kitchen or bathroom sink get in-home washing without a laundromat trip. Households that rely on hot water or launder comforters need a full-size machine.
Pros and cons
- Five wash cycles including Soak
- Three water level choices
- Stainless steel tub resists rust
- Clear lid shows the load
- Cold water washing only
- Small load capacity
- HE detergent required
- Needs a sink for water supply
Performance notes
Cleaning results depend on matching the water level to the load and choosing a cycle that fits the soil level, since cold water alone does less on grease and heavy grime. Auto unbalance detection reacts to an uneven load so the spin runs smoothly, and the high spin speed removes more water before drying.
