Overview
A 30 pound bag of IAMS Proactive Health dry kibble in a lamb and rice recipe, sized for adult dogs of any breed. The minichunk kibble and digestive health formulation are built for daily feeding rather than a short-term diet change.
IAMS markets this line around everyday digestive support rather than a specialty diet, and the minichunk size is meant to suit a mixed-size household rather than one specific breed. The 30 lb bag format favors owners feeding more than one dog or a larger dog that goes through food quickly.
- 30 lb bag, 480 oz net weight
- Lamb and rice minichunk recipe
- Formulated for adult dogs of all breed sizes
- Brazil nut free allergen labeling
Who it's for
Adult dogs of any breed size on a lamb and rice diet fit this bag well. It is labeled for adult dogs specifically, so puppies or dogs needing a senior or prescription formula should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Minichunk size suits mixed-size households
- Single lamb and rice protein option
- Large 30 lb bag cuts reorder frequency
- Labeled Brazil nut free
- Formulated for adult dogs only, not puppies or seniors
- No owner review text available to confirm acceptance
- Bag size may be excessive for a single small dog
Performance notes
The minichunk kibble size is meant to work across small and large mouths alike, and the recipe is positioned around supporting healthy digestion rather than a single health issue. It ships as a 480 ounce (30 lb) sealed bag.
