Overview
Extending to 47.2 inches, the SANLIKE SC-128 pairs an aluminum shaft with a stainless steel hook, built to land or spear larger catches like spearfish. At 8.8 ounces it's light for its length, pointing to a collapsible or telescoping design.
The aluminum-and-stainless pairing is common for gaffs meant to handle saltwater without corroding as quickly as plain steel. The blue finish and extended length are aimed at boat or dock use, where a compact stored size matters when not in use.
- Extends to 47.2 inches
- Aluminum and stainless steel construction
- Target species: spearfish
- Weighs 8.8 ounces
Who it's for
Suits anglers or spearfishers who need a compact, extendable gaff for landing bigger fish from a boat or pier. Not intended as a general landing net replacement for smaller catch-and-release fishing.
Pros and cons
- Extends to 47.2 inches for reach
- Stainless steel hook resists saltwater corrosion
- Light at 8.8 ounces for its length
- Built for larger catch, not general-purpose landing
- Telescoping designs can be less rigid than a fixed pole
Performance notes
The aluminum shaft keeps overall weight down while extending to nearly 4 feet, and the stainless steel hook is built to resist saltwater corrosion better than plain steel. That combination matters most when the gaff needs to reach and hold a larger, actively fighting fish.
