Overview
An 18 inch grill brush with brass bristles from Grillaholics, built for cleaning porcelain and ceramic grates without the wire bristle risk of steel brushes.
Brass is softer than steel, so the maker positions this as the safer option for porcelain and ceramic grates where steel bristles can scratch the coating or snap off into food. At 18 inches it is meant to keep hands away from residual grate heat while scraping off burnt on residue.
- Brass bristles, safe on porcelain and ceramic
- 18 inch length
- Stainless brass construction, machine tested
- Compatible with gas, charcoal, smoker and infrared grills
Who it's for
Suits grill owners with porcelain, ceramic or coated grates, including Big Green Egg, Weber and Blackstone, who want a brush that will not leave metal fragments behind. Owners who have already switched away from bristle brushes entirely for safety reasons will want a bristle free scraper instead.
Pros and cons
- Bristles can start falling out after about a year of heavy use
- Handle reportedly wears out before the brush head on repeat purchases
