Overview
The MW146 is a router from AVID, sold for wood routing and edge work. No horsepower, collet size or speed range was included in the listing, so this page covers what the rating and category confirm rather than guessing at the motor spec.
Routers in this class are usually judged on motor power, collet size and variable speed range, none of which appear in the available spec sheet for the MW146.

Who it's for
Works for buyers comfortable choosing a router mainly on brand and rating rather than a published horsepower or collet size figure. Woodworkers who need a specific collet diameter or speed range confirmed for existing bits should check the listing first.
Pros and cons
- Steady demand in the router category
- Motor power not listed
- Collet size not specified
- Variable speed range unknown
Performance notes
Motor power, collet size and speed range were not included in the listing data, so routing capacity for hardwood versus softwood cannot be judged from the spec sheet.
