Overview
The Skyflame SK-QA0051-SS1 is a charcoal-fired outdoor cooker with a gray metal body and a cordierite stone cooking surface, a material prized for holding steady, even heat. It suits buyers who want a dedicated charcoal setup outside a standard kettle grill.
Cordierite is the same stone material used in many pizza ovens because it stores and radiates heat evenly, so this cooker is built around sustained high-temperature charcoal cooking rather than quick weeknight grilling. Skyflame markets it as a specialty cooker, and the spec sheet does not list cooking area or dimensions, so buyers should confirm size fits their patio before ordering.
- Charcoal fuel type
- Cordierite stone cooking surface
- Gray metal body
Who it's for
Fits people who already grill with charcoal and want a second, more specialized cooker built around a stone surface rather than open grates. Not a fit for anyone wanting gas convenience or a single all-purpose grill.
Pros and cons
- Cordierite stone holds heat evenly
- Charcoal fuel for classic smoky flavor
- No listed cooking area or dimensions
- No verified owner feedback yet
Performance notes
Charcoal supplies the heat, and the cordierite stone spreads and holds it more evenly than bare metal grates, which favors foods that benefit from steady radiant heat. Amazon's spec sheet does not include cooking area, weight or overall dimensions, so exact capacity is unconfirmed.
