Overview
A digital wireless link carries video from the weatherproof rear camera to a dashboard monitor in this Furrion RV system, with no long cable run through the rig. Motion sensors wake the display when something moves, and a built-in microphone sends sound for parking guidance.
Wireless setup on a long RV and a security role when parked are the two reasons to buy. Key install data is missing, including field of view, power wiring and what mounting hardware comes in the box.
Who it's for
Motorhome and trailer owners backing into campsites get a rear view without cable runs, plus motion alerts at night. Car drivers wanting a small plate camera should look at a kit sized for cars.
Pros and cons
- Wireless digital link, no long cable
- Weatherproof rear camera
- Night vision for dark campsites
- Motion wake for parked security
- Field of view not listed
- Monitor resolution is standard definition
Performance notes
Image clarity depends on the digital wireless link and the standard definition monitor, so fine detail at distance is limited. Night vision covers dark reversing and overnight watch. Motion detection wakes the screen only when something moves, which saves attention while parked.
