Overview
Bedrooms, kitchens, dorm rooms and guest rooms suit this small Samsung smart TV with built-in streaming apps and Wi-Fi. A quad-core processor moves between apps, and screen mirroring shows a phone's screen on the TV.
Built-in apps and mirroring make it an all-in-one screen for a secondary room without a streaming stick. Resolution is HD only, so it looks soft up close or for detailed content.
Who it's for
Students, renters and anyone outfitting a guest room get a compact TV with streaming built in. Viewers who sit close or watch sports in detail should step up in resolution.
Pros and cons
- Built-in streaming apps
- Screen mirroring from phones
- Optical audio output
- Component and composite inputs
- 720p, not full HD
- Only two HDMI ports
Performance notes
Picture sharpness is limited by the HD panel, which looks fine at a distance on a small screen. The quad-core processor speeds up app switching, while the edge LED backlight makes the set thin and light.
