Overview
This is a 12 pack of 11.1 oz cartons of Vita Coco Organic Coconut Water, pressed from young coconuts and flash pasteurized, with about 60 calories per carton and no added sugar. It suits shoppers looking for a lighter, naturally sweet alternative to soda or sports drinks.
Vita Coco processes coconuts near the source, then flash pasteurizes the water rather than adding preservatives, which is why the flavor reads as clean rather than syrupy. It carries natural electrolytes and nutrients from the coconut itself, not an added blend, and the case format suits people who go through several cartons a week rather than sipping one occasionally.
- 12 cartons of 11.1 oz each
- About 60 calories per carton
- Flash pasteurized, no added sugar
- Fat free, gluten free, non GMO
Who it's for
Fits anyone replacing soda, juice or sugary sports drinks with something lighter after a workout or on a hot day, and households that keep a case in the fridge for regular use. Less suited to someone who dislikes the natural coconut taste itself, since that flavor comes through even at this mild strength.
Pros and cons
- Naturally sweet with no added sugar
- Case format cheaper than single cartons
- Fat free, gluten free, non GMO
- Convenient 11.1 oz single-serve cartons
- Coconut flavor is not neutral
- Some find it pricey by the case
- Sugar content still noticeable per reviewer
