Overview
The Amazon Basics waffle shower curtain is a 72 by 72 inch white polyester panel with a woven waffle texture and built-in grommet holes, sized for a standard tub or shower and meant to hang over a liner rather than alone.
This is Amazon's house-brand take on the waffle-weave curtain that hotels favor, priced as a plain white basic rather than a design piece. It carries no printed pattern, so it works as a neutral backdrop instead of a decor statement. Amazon does not list a liner in the box, so budget for one separately if your shower does not already have one.
- 72 x 72 inch fits standard tub and shower
- 100% polyester woven waffle texture
- Built-in ring holes for direct hanging
- Machine washable for easy care
Who it's for
Suits anyone who wants a clean white curtain that will not clash with existing decor, or who needs a liner-compatible outer curtain for a rental or guest bath. Not the choice for someone hunting for color or pattern, since this ships in white only.
Pros and cons
- Waffle texture reads as higher end for a basic price
- Built-in ring holes need no add-on hooks
- Neutral white fits most existing bathroom color schemes
- Ships in white only, no color options
- Meant to pair with a liner, not hang alone
Performance notes
The waffle weave gives the flat polyester some visual texture without adding bulk, and the built-in ring holes let it hang directly from shower rings without extra grommet hardware. Amazon Basics describes it as a liner companion piece, so its water resistance is not rated for standalone use.
