Overview
Not a conventional mixer with the motor behind the handle, the Braun MultiMix places its motor in line above the beaters so the weight rests on the bowl. A thumb dial sets speed, and a button swaps attachments.
Reduced effort is the case for it: the vertical motor layout lightens the load on the wrist during long mixing. The listed voltage is a concern for North American kitchens and should be confirmed.
Who it's for
Home bakers who mix often and want less strain on the hand get a light, balanced mixer. Buyers in the US or Canada should confirm voltage before ordering.
Pros and cons
- Weight shifts into the bowl
- One-handed speed dial
- Dough hooks for bread and pizza
- Sealed housing blocks mess
- Voltage listed as 220 volts
Performance notes
Mixing effort depends on where the weight rests: the in-line motor puts mass over the beaters, so the bowl carries it instead of the wrist. The sealed housing has no vent slots, so splatter cannot reach the motor.
