Hamilton Beach Single-Serve Blender with Travel Cup

Overview

Not a full size countertop blender, the Hamilton Beach single-serve model makes one portion at a time and pairs with a travel cup. Stainless steel blades and a single push button do the work, and the plastic parts go in the dishwasher.

Simple operation is the reason to own it: one button, one speed, and a cup to take the drink with you. Without speed control or a large jar, it will not handle family batches or recipes that need slow pulsing.

Who it's for

Single people and small kitchens that blend one drink at a time get a compact, simple machine. Families and cooks who want soups or nut butters should look at a larger blender.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Blend texture depends on the motor turning the stainless steel blades through a small volume of liquid at one fixed speed. Adding enough liquid and cutting fruit small matters more here, since there is no slower setting to start chunky loads.
