Overview
A party decorator gets two ultraviolet flood lights that plug into household power and stand on the floor. Each has an aluminum and glass shade and a graphene material listing, and the wavelength range is stated for safety.
The reason to buy is the ready-to-use pair with a waterproof rating and a wide beam for covering a wall or a stage. The limitation is that the listing gives no cord length and no lumen or coverage distance, so reach is a guess.
Who it's for
Hosts lighting glow in the dark decor, body paint or fluorescent posters will use these in pairs to cover both sides of a room. Buyers who need a mount for a ceiling or wall, or a dimmer, should look at other fixtures.
Pros and cons
- Pair supplied in one pack
- Waterproof IP66 rating
- Wide beam angle
- Stated safe wavelength range
- Cord length not listed
- Floor mount only
- Dimmer or control not described
Performance notes
Ultraviolet LEDs at the stated wavelength excite fluorescent and glow materials, so the effect is strongest on neon paint, posters and white fabric. A wide beam spreads the light over a larger area but dilutes intensity with distance. The waterproof housing protects the electronics from splashes and rain.
