Overview
The KNIPEX 9K 00 80 05 US is a plier from Knipex carrying a plastic handle and weighing about 2.8 pounds, backed by a 4.9 rating, one of the higher scores in this category.
Knipex is a German tool maker known for precision pliers, and the 9K prefix in its catalog numbering typically marks a bundled kit rather than a single tool, though this listing describes it simply as a plier. At 2.8 pounds it is on the heavier side for a hand plier, which fits either a larger single tool or a small multi piece set.

Who it's for
Suits users who want a Knipex branded plier and are comfortable confirming from the listing whether it ships as a single tool or a small kit. Casual buyers who just want one basic plier should double check that detail before ordering.
Pros and cons
- Knipex brand reputation for precision tools
- Strong recent sales volume of about 300 a month
- 9K catalog numbering suggests possible kit, not confirmed as single tool
- Heavier at 2.8 pounds than a typical single plier
Performance notes
Knipex tools are generally built around hardened jaws and precise pivot tolerances, which is a common reason for their strong review scores in this space. The plastic handle here would be for grip and light insulation rather than heavy electrical work, and the 2.8 pound weight is heavier than a typical single plier, consistent with either a robust tool or a bundled set.
