Overview
Plankpad PRO is a wobble-style plank and balance board made from FSC-certified maple wood with a walnut finish, paired with a free iOS and Android app that turns plank holds into motion-controlled games. It ships with an anti-slip top mat, a spare floor mat, a workout poster and a manual.
The core idea is that your body becomes the game controller: tilting and balancing on the board while holding a plank position drives on-screen games in the companion app, meant to make short daily plank sessions less tedious than a static hold. It also works as a standalone wobble balance board without the app.
- FSC-certified maple wood, walnut finish
- Free app with 10 games and a 30-day challenge
- Works as plank trainer or balance board
- Includes anti-slip mat, floor mat and poster
Who it's for
Fits people who want to build core strength through short daily plank sessions and prefer a game-based app to a static timer. Also usable as a plain balance board for posture and coordination work without ever opening the app.
Pros and cons
- Free app adds games to a static plank hold
- Doubles as a standalone balance board
- Solid maple wood construction
- Includes floor mat, poster and manual
- Core value depends on pairing with a phone or tablet
Performance notes
The board's wobble sits on a curved base under the maple deck, so shifting your weight during a plank tilts the surface and, through motion tracking in the app, moves the on-screen game. Without the app, the same wobble action works as a standard balance board exercise for posture and coordination.
