Overview
Homeowners with chlorine in their supply get a whole house softener whose upgraded crosslink resin is built to stand up to it. A touchscreen valve handles programming, and the system ships with a large brine tank, a bypass valve and a protective tank jacket.
Chlorine-resistant resin and a touchscreen valve are the two features that define this system. The listing is thin on plumbing details, with no flow rating, connection size or resin volume, so confirm them with the seller before planning the install.
Who it's for
Homes protecting showers, dishwashers and washing machines from hard water match what this system targets. Installers who plan from spec sheets will be frustrated by the missing plumbing figures.
Pros and cons
- Whole house protection for fixtures and appliances
- Chlorine-resistant crosslink resin
- Touchscreen LCD simplifies programming
- Bypass valve included
- Flow rate, pipe size and resin volume not listed
- Electronic valve needs power at the tank
- Brine tank needs regular salt refills
Performance notes
Capacity comes from the resin bed, which holds hardness minerals until a brine cycle restores it. Higher crosslink resin holds its structure longer under chlorine exposure, which extends its working life on treated supplies. Regeneration frequency depends on the hardness and usage programmed into the touchscreen valve.
