Overview
Not a stage controller or a console piano, the FP-10 is a compact home instrument with ivory feel keys and built-in speakers. A phone app handles sounds and the metronome, and a USB MIDI port links it to recording software.
Quiet headphone practice and a touch that follows an acoustic piano are the reasons to buy, and the box includes a foot switch and music rest. A power adapter and stand are not named, so budget for them separately.
Who it's for
A student or returning player who needs a small piano for lessons, with a teacher mode and headphone practice. Anyone who wants a furniture style look will need the optional stand.
Pros and cons
- Twin Piano lesson mode
- Foot switch included
- Stand sold separately
- Power adapter not listed
- No stage outputs named
Performance notes
Weighted keys with an ivory-style surface give expressive touch, and the sound engine supplies a rich, responsive piano tone. Headphones silence the speakers, while the companion app takes over sound and metronome selection.
