A practical bundle of small fishing tools that covers the common jobs at the water. The included fillet knife is the weak link, so do not count on it for serious cleaning work.

Overview
A five piece fishing tool set from Mossy Oak covering pistol grip pliers, a sheathed fillet knife, a trigger pull fish gripper, a folding line snip, and a retractable lanyard, aimed at anglers who want hook removal, fish handling, and line cutting covered in one case.
The pliers combine a split ring head, hook remover, wire cutter, and crimping slots in one tool, while the stainless gripper is rated for saltwater use with an adjustable wrist strap. At least one buyer felt the included fillet knife underperformed, so treat it as a backup blade rather than the main cutting tool in the set.
- 45 degree pistol grip pliers with wire cutter and crimper
- 10.5 inch fillet knife with plastic sheath and built in sharpener
- Stainless trigger pull gripper rated for saltwater
- Folding line snip and retractable lanyard included
Who it's for
Works for anglers who want a grab and go kit covering the basics of hook removal, fish gripping, and line cutting, plus buyers shopping for a fishing gift. Anyone who needs a serious fillet knife should plan to bring their own rather than rely on the one included here.
Pros and cons
- Covers pliers, gripper, knife, and line snip in one kit
- Stainless gripper construction suited to saltwater
- Compact folding line snip for pocket carry
- Comes with lanyards and a sheath
- Included fillet knife disappointed at least one buyer
- No rod or reel included despite the tool focus
Performance notes
The pliers use a 45 degree pistol grip with a spring loaded, non slip handle and cover split ring work, wire cutting, and crimping in three slots sized for different leads. The gripper's stainless tube and rubberized handle are built to resist saltwater corrosion, and the folding line snip collapses to about 3.5 inches for pocket storage.
