Overview
A budding bowhunter or target shooter gets a Morrell Yellow Jacket block with four faces and a total of many bullseyes. The foam block is rated for both bow types, so it can serve a mixed archery household.
Four faces spread the wear across the block, which stretches its useful life for regular practice. Support for crossbows as well as compound bows broadens the audience. The limitation is that the listing gives no hanging or stand details, and the weight and color rows conflict with the title.
Who it's for
Backyard practice and hunting prep where one block must handle two bow types. Archers with very fast arrows, or those who want a stand or hanger included, should check the details.
Pros and cons
- Four faces extend the block life
- Many bullseyes for varied aiming
- Works with compound bows and crossbows
- Synthetic foam material
- Weight and color rows conflict with title
- Setup and hanging details missing
- Stopping depth unstated
Performance notes
A thick foam block stops an arrow by gripping it over a long travel distance, so thickness and density set what bow speed it can handle. Rotating the block to a fresh face spreads damage across the material. The listed speed figure marks the upper limit this target is designed for.
