Overview
Kurt Adler's Hollywood collection continues with this 13.5 inch candy soldier nutcracker, free-standing and finished in wood with painted mica accents for shine. Designed to complement other pieces in the same collectible line.
Like other Hollywood-collection pieces from Kurt Adler, this one leans into a candy-themed soldier look rather than a strictly traditional uniform, with mica worked into the paint finish for added shimmer. At 13.5 inches it sits between smaller ornament-scale figures and larger mantel centerpieces.
- 13.5 inches tall
- Wood with paint and mica finish
- Designed by Holly Adler
- Free-standing candy soldier theme
Who it's for
Good for collectors of the Hollywood nutcracker series or anyone wanting a candy-themed piece to pair with a broader holiday display. Less suited to buyers wanting a plain, traditional soldier design.
Pros and cons
- Free-standing, ready to display
- Mica-accented paint adds shine
- Part of a named collectible series
- Rated 4.7 across a large number of ratings
- Novelty candy-soldier theme is not for traditional decor
- No listed base dimensions
Performance notes
The mica content in the paint gives the surface a bit of shimmer compared to flat-painted wood nutcrackers, which is the main functional differentiator here beyond the free-standing build.
