Overview
The EOTech XPS2-0GREY is a compact holographic weapon sight with a 68 MOA ring and 1 MOA dot reticle, fitting 1 inch Weaver and MIL-STD 1913 rails, with 20 brightness settings and a 10 year warranty.
One reviewer's unit arrived with a scuffed lens and marks suggesting a prior mount, a reminder to inspect the sight closely on arrival even with a well-regarded brand.
- 68 MOA ring with 1 MOA dot reticle
- Fits 1 inch Weaver and MIL-STD 1913 rails
- 20 brightness settings for varied lighting
- 10 year limited warranty
Who it's for
Suits shooters who want a fast, clear sight for close to mid-range engagement with both eyes open, and who value a long manufacturer warranty. Not the pick for anyone needing built-in magnification for distance shooting, where a magnifier or a dedicated scope fits better.
Pros and cons
- Works well shooting with both eyes open
- Compact housing leaves rail space free
- Costs more than basic red dot sights
- Uses CR123 batteries, a separate type to stock
- At least one report of a damaged unit on arrival
Performance notes
The compact housing uses CR123 batteries rather than the larger AA compartment on some other EOTech models, keeping the unit smaller and leaving more rail space free for a magnifier or iron sights.
