Overview
Stretch-and-snap putty in a metal egg tin makes up the Crayola Silly Putty XL, scaled up from the classic egg. It stretches slowly, snaps when pulled fast and bounces when rolled into a ball, in four neon shades.
A large supply in bright colors means more to share and sculpt. The listing gives no cleaning guidance, which matters with putty around clothing and rugs.
Who it's for
Kids at parties, fidgeters at desks and Easter basket fillers get a big, bright supply. Homes with plush rugs may want to keep it at the table.
Pros and cons
- Large amount of putty
- Bright neon colors
- Reusable tin storage
- Stretches, snaps and bounces
- Cleaning tips not listed
- Can stick to fabric
- Colors may blend together
Performance notes
Silly Putty acts like a liquid when pulled slowly and turns firm when snapped or bounced, which is what makes it fun to play with. Neon colors blend if mixed, and dust and lint stick to it over time.
