Overview
This AmazerBath shower curtain is a 72x72 inch fabric waffle-weave panel in white polyester, made at 240 GSM, roughly double the weight of a typical 90 GSM curtain. It ships with 12 metal grommets and is machine washable, with no liner included.
The waffle-weave texture and heavier fabric are aimed at a hotel-style look rather than the thin, semi-sheer curtains common at this price. Being fabric rather than vinyl, it resists water only partially, so the maker recommends pairing it with a separate waterproof liner rather than relying on the curtain alone.
- 72x72 inch white waffle-weave polyester
- 240 GSM fabric weight
- 12 rust-resistant metal grommets
- Machine washable, cold water
Who it's for
Suits anyone wanting a thicker, more textured fabric curtain for a standard-size tub or shower who already plans to use a liner underneath. Not a fit for someone who wants one curtain to do both the decorative and waterproofing job.
Pros and cons
- Heavier 240 GSM fabric with a hotel-style drape
- Machine washable and quick drying
- 12 rust-resistant grommets fit standard hooks
- Fits standard 72x72 inch tubs and showers
- Only partially water resistant on its own
- Liner and hooks sold separately
Performance notes
At 240 GSM, the fabric weighs close to two and a half times a standard 90 GSM shower curtain, which is what gives it the heavier drape and hotel feel rather than a thin, clingy panel. That same fabric only partially resists water, beading some moisture on the surface while letting some through, so it is designed to work with a separate waterproof liner rather than replace one.
