Overview
The Serene SLBS66 is a portable highchair rated for children up to 37 pounds, with a compact folded footprint of about 15 by 14.2 by 15.4 inches for storage or travel.
Its main selling point is the portable spec itself: at under 15 inches wide when folded, it is built to travel or tuck away rather than serve as a full sized dining highchair. The 37 pound weight limit puts its practical window at roughly the baby to young toddler stage, tapering off well before a child reaches preschool weight.
- 37 pound weight capacity
- Folded size about 15D x 14.2W x 15.4H inches
- Portable, foldable design
- Compact footprint for travel
Who it's for
Families who want a compact seat for grandma's house, a small kitchen or trips away from home. Not a fit for anyone wanting a full size highchair with a large tray or adjustable height for years of use.
Pros and cons
- Folds to a compact footprint for storage
- Rated for children up to 37 pounds
- Suited to travel or small kitchens
- 37 pound limit means a shorter usable window
- No tray height adjustment mentioned
Performance notes
Being listed as portable, the SLBS66 is built to fold down to its roughly 15 inch footprint rather than stand as a fixed piece of furniture, trading size and adjustability for ease of storage and transport.
