Overview
Kitchens and living rooms where a step stool stays in view suit the Hasegawa Lucano, a gold folding stool made to look like furniture. Grooved steps give grip, and a safety bar lets it fold flat and stand upright on its own.
Looks and stability make it a stool you can leave out rather than hide in a closet. With only two steps it reaches upper cabinets, not ceiling fixtures.
Who it's for
Made for apartments and kitchens where storage is tight and the stool stays visible. People who need real ladder height should look at a taller model.
Pros and cons
- Stands upright when folded
- Grooved steps for grip
- Safety bar for folding
- Light aluminum frame
- Only two steps
- Limited reach height
- Finish may show scuffs
Performance notes
Stability comes from a wide leg stance and grooved treads that resist slipping. Folding uses a safety bar, so the stool locks open and closes without pinching. Light aluminum makes it easy to move from room to room.
