Amazon Basics Stainless Steel Whisk Set 3 Piece

Overview

A 3-piece stainless steel whisk set in 9, 10 and 11.5-inch sizes, each with a balloon-shaped wire head and a solid gray ergonomic handle. Covers everything from small sauces to larger batter and egg-white jobs in one set.

Rather than one all-purpose whisk, this set covers a small range of sizes so a smaller whisk can work in a saucepan while the 11.5-inch one handles a full mixing bowl. It is a basic kitchen tool with no unusual features beyond the size range and a dishwasher-safe build, backed by Amazon Basics' standard one-year limited warranty.

• 3-piece set: 9, 10 and 11.5-inch whisks
• Balloon-shaped wire heads
• Ergonomic gray handles
• Dishwasher safe, 1-year limited warranty

Who it's for

Home cooks who want a size-matched set of whisks instead of one general-purpose whisk, useful for anything from a small pan sauce to whipping cream or egg whites in a large bowl. Not aimed at anyone needing a specialty whisk shape like a flat roux whisk.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The balloon-shaped wire head is the standard shape for whipping air into eggs, cream or batter, and having three sizes on hand means the whisk can match the pot or bowl instead of forcing one size into every job. The gray handle is molded with a contoured grip rather than a plain rod, which is meant to keep the whisk secure in hand during faster whipping motions. All three pieces are listed as dishwasher safe for cleanup.
