A single lever tub and shower set with the valve in the box and an accessible lever, for a straightforward bath refresh. The listing contradicts itself on materials, so confirm what you are getting before you buy.

Overview
Tub and shower alcoves are where the Cadet set goes: one lever controls the water, and a diverter sends it to the tub spout or the shower head. It mounts on the wall with a valve included and a polished chrome finish.
Its strongest point is that the valve comes with the trim, so a full replacement does not start with a separate valve search. Weakest is the listing itself, which calls the body brass in one place and plastic in another and names only the shower arm as an included part.
Who it's for
Suited to a hall bath or rental unit where one lever and an accessible handle make daily use simple. Owners who want a two handle setup should shop elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Valve included with the trim
- Single lever operation
- ADA compliant lever handle
- Diverter switches between tub and shower
- Body material listed as both brass and plastic
- Box contents beyond the shower arm not listed
- Single handle only, no separate hot and cold
- Warranty entry gives no terms
Performance notes
Water output is set by the rated flow, so the shower feel depends mostly on the head attached to the arm. The diverter routes the flow to either the tub spout or the shower, and the lever handle needs only a push rather than a grip to operate.

Frequently asked questions
Is the American Standard Cadet 9091512 a shower-only faucet?
No. It is a tub and shower faucet with a shower/tub diverter, so it serves a bathtub with a shower above it.
Does the Cadet 9091512 include the valve?
Yes, the listing marks the valve as included. The only other component it names is the shower arm.
Is the Cadet tub and shower faucet brass or plastic?
The listing conflicts: the bullets say brass with brass handle material, while the spec table lists plastic. Check with the seller before buying.
