Overview
Families with pets, smokers or cooking odors in a large living room get a Hathaspace purifier pairing a HEPA layer with a honeycomb carbon filter. A sensor drives auto mode, and a remote changes fan speed or switches off the display light.
A thick carbon stage alongside HEPA targets odors and VOCs that particle filters miss. Noise levels and filter change intervals are not given, so upkeep and sound are unknowns.
Who it's for
Open living rooms, basements and apartments with odor and dust problems suit it. Light sleepers should check noise before using it at night.
Pros and cons
- Carbon layer for odors and VOCs
- Auto mode from the air sensor
- Remote control included
- Air quality shown on display
- Noise level not listed
- Filter life not listed
- Heavy for a portable unit
Performance notes
Particle removal comes from the HEPA layer, while the honeycomb carbon adsorbs gases as air passes, so thicker carbon holds more odor before saturating. Auto mode raises fan speed when the sensor sees dirtier air and lowers it as readings fall.
