Overview
Weighing 154 pounds, the Summerset SS-OVFS-NG is a stainless steel outdoor cooker built for a natural gas connection rather than a portable propane tank. It measures 25.5 x 54.25 x 58.5 inches, a size and weight suited to a fixed outdoor kitchen spot.
Natural gas fuel removes the hassle of swapping propane tanks but means the unit needs a dedicated gas line run to its location. Stainless steel construction is built to handle continuous outdoor exposure.
- Fuel type: Natural gas
- Material: Stainless steel
- Weight: 154 lb
- Dimensions: 25.5 x 54.25 x 58.5 in
Who it's for
Fits an outdoor kitchen build where a natural gas line is already installed or planned. Not a match for renters or anyone who needs a portable, propane fueled unit instead.
Pros and cons
- Stainless steel outdoor build
- No propane tank refills needed
- 154 lb, not portable
- Requires an installed gas line
- Exact cooking function not detailed
Performance notes
Stainless steel resists rust and weather better than painted steel over years of outdoor exposure. Running on natural gas means no tank refills, but it does require a plumbed gas connection at install. The 58.5 inch height and 154 pound weight point to a fixture scale appliance rather than something moved between uses.
