Overview
Not a hitting game, the Inflataman is an inflatable catcher with a strike zone that players pitch into. Up to four people take turns throwing six inflatable baseballs, tracking strikes on a dry-erase scoreboard.
The game structure is simple, with one inning per turn and the highest total after nine innings winning. Inflatable balls make it safe for kids and gatherings. The limitation is that the game is casual, and the listing gives no catcher weight or inflation time.
Who it's for
Family gatherings, tailgates and backyard events where several people want a quick game. Serious pitchers and anyone wanting a durable target for regular practice should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Pump and scoreboard included
- Inflatable balls are safe indoors and out
- Up to four players
- Simple nine inning format
- Casual game, not training gear
- Warranty is short and dealer based
- Inflation time not described
Performance notes
The catcher inflates to give a large strike zone, and soft inflatable baseballs bounce off without risk. Scoring works by tallying strikes each inning on the dry-erase board. Outdoors, an inflated body can catch the wind, so a sheltered spot helps.
