Overview
Cosmo's 24 inch over-the-range microwave pairs 1000 watts of cooking power with a built-in venting hood, sized to fit tighter 24 inch cabinet cutouts that many replacement OTR microwaves don't address.
The main draw here is the 24 inch width, which is genuinely hard to find in the over-the-range category and is why several buyers picked it for RVs and motorhomes. It's a straight ventilation-and-reheat unit, not a convection or air fry model. One reviewer's cabinet cutout was deeper than this unit, requiring a rear spacer to let the door hinge open.
- 23.8 x 16.1 x 17 inch exterior footprint
- 13.6 inch turntable, direction reversible
- White LED cooktop lighting
- 120V/60Hz, RV friendly
Who it's for
Best for anyone replacing an aging 24 inch OTR microwave, including RV and motorhome kitchens with limited width. Skip it if your cutout was built for a deeper, older-style microwave.
Pros and cons
- Integrated hood vents smoke and odor from cooktop
- Sensor cook shuts off automatically when done
- Fits 24 inch cabinets other OTR units skip
- Control panel has no backlight
- One buyer received a dented unit on arrival
- May need spacers if replacing a deeper old cutout
Performance notes
Sensor reheat and cook detects doneness and shuts off automatically, and 10 power levels plus touch presets handle melting, softening, defrosting and popcorn without guesswork. The turntable direction can be reversed, and white LED downlights illuminate the cooktop below.
