Overview
Not a compact pocket tape, this Milwaukee wide blade measure reaches across rooms, decks and framing runs. A push-button lock holds the blade, and the wide blade is meant for long layouts.
Length and blade width suit long measurements where a narrow tape would sag. The listing has no standout, hook or marking details, and the blade width differs between fields.
Who it's for
Builders and serious DIYers laying out decks, floors and walls. Homeowners measuring furniture will find it heavy and bulky.
Pros and cons
- Long blade for big layouts
- Wide blade for longer reach
- Stated accuracy rating
- Blade width listed two ways
- Standout and hook details missing
- Heavy to carry
Performance notes
A wider blade curves more across its width, which helps it hold straight when extended. Accuracy is stated per ten feet, so error builds on the longest pulls.
