Motopower's MP69033 covers the same basic job as other OBD II code readers: it reads and clears check engine codes on cars from 1996 or newer, and shows freeze frame and live data on its own 2.8 inch LCD screen.

It supports nine protocols across US, European, and Asian OBD II and CAN vehicles, and switches between six languages including English, German, and Spanish. Like similar basic readers, it draws power from the vehicle's OBD port and needs no battery.
