Overview
Not a roomy blind for a crowd, the Care Taker is a small ground blind that comfortably holds two hunters. A polyester shell, an interior coating and a hub style frame make it quick to deploy in tight, wooded areas.
A small footprint makes it easy to carry and set up in thick cover, and the interior coating cuts shadows and silhouettes. Shoot-through windows allow shots without opening the blind. The limitation is space, since two hunters fit but gear and a third person do not.
Who it's for
Bowhunters and gun hunters working dense woods who want a light pack and fast setup. Larger parties, or hunters who want to stand inside the blind, need a bigger model.
Pros and cons
- Fits two hunters
- Interior coating reduces shadows
- Hub frame speeds setup
- Shoot-through mesh windows
- Limited room for gear
- Setup dimensions not listed
- Weight row looks unreliable
Performance notes
A hub style frame pops open and folds down fast, which matters for quiet setup before a hunt. The interior coating absorbs light so movement inside is less visible through the windows. A polyester shell sheds weather, but a small blind limits how much wind it can take.
