Overview
A long hallway between bedrooms and the laundry room is where the Sterilite Ultra wheeled basket helps, rolling a full family load on built-in wheels. A retractable handle pulls it along, and side handles lift it over stairs.
Rolling instead of carrying heavy loads saves effort on smooth floors. The wheels are described for smooth surfaces only, and stairs still require lifting by the integrated handles.
Who it's for
Apartments, dorms and single-level homes with hard floors get the most from wheels. People with carpeted routes or many stairs may prefer a lighter carry basket.
Pros and cons
- Large capacity for family loads
- Wheels for rolling laundry
- Retractable pull handle
- Ventilation holes reduce odors
- Wheels suit smooth floors only
- No lid listed
- Bulky to store
Performance notes
Wheels in the base carry the weight on smooth floors, so a full load moves with a light pull on the retractable handle. The open hole pattern lets air circulate, which helps limit odors from damp clothes.
