Overview
SVS fits a large driver and a high power Sledge amplifier into a compact sealed cabinet, tuned through a smartphone DSP app. The sealed design favors tight, accurate bass over maximum port output.
App based DSP lets you set crossover, phase and EQ from your seat, and the sealed box holds bass tight for music. In very large rooms a ported design or a second sub may move more air.
Who it's for
Audiophiles and home theater owners with a receiver and a corner or wall spot to spare. Soundbar users without a sub output cannot connect it.
Pros and cons
- Sealed cabinet for tight bass
- Smartphone DSP control
- Compact cube shape
- Heavy for its size
- Wired connection to receiver
- Black Ash finish only listed
Performance notes
A sealed cabinet rolls off bass gradually, which integrates smoothly with main speakers and stays controlled on music. The Sledge amplifier gives headroom for loud movie effects without strain. App based DSP tuning sets how well it blends in your particular room.
