Sharp Pebble Wood Carving Tool Sharpening Stones 400/1000

Overview

The Sharp CS401000 is a two piece chisel set weighing 2 pounds combined. No description or material spec is listed, so buyers should treat blade steel and handle type as unconfirmed until checking the product images.

With only a piece count and total weight to go on, this listing is thin on detail for a set that a serious woodworker would want to vet closely, including bevel angle and steel type.

• 2 piece chisel set
• 2 pounds total weight
• Sharp brand, model CS401000

Who it's for

Someone who wants a compact two chisel starter set, and is comfortable researching further before buying, is the likely fit. Anyone needing a specific chisel width or a full graduated set should look elsewhere, since only two pieces are included.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Chisel performance comes down to edge geometry and steel hardness, neither of which is specified here. A roughly 1 pound per piece average is consistent with mid size bench chisels rather than heavy mortise chisels.
