Overview
A King size down alternative comforter and duvet insert with corner tabs, filled with 300 gsm polyester and wrapped in a white polyester shell, measuring 102 by 90 inches.
It's built to work as either a standalone comforter or an insert inside a duvet cover, with corner tabs to keep it from shifting inside the cover. Amazon Basics ships it vacuum sealed, so it needs about 24 hours to fully loft after unpacking, and it carries a 1-year limited warranty.
- King size, 102 x 90 inches
- 300 gsm polyester fill, polyester shell
- Corner tabs for duvet cover use
- Machine washable, 1-year warranty
Who it's for
Shoppers who want an affordable, machine washable King comforter with no down or feathers, whether used bare or inside a duvet cover. The corner tabs suit anyone planning to use it as a duvet insert.
Pros and cons
- Machine washable and tumble dryable
- Corner tabs for use as a duvet insert
- All season 300 gsm fill weight
- 1-year limited warranty
- Needs about 24 hours to decompress after unpacking
- Down alternative fill, not real down
Performance notes
The 300 gsm polyester fill is a mid weight loft aimed at year round use rather than a heavy winter only comforter. Because it ships vacuum sealed, it needs roughly a day to decompress and reach full loft before it looks or feels as intended.
