Overview
A campsite, a deck or a cigar lounge is where this XIKAR torch lighter comes out, throwing a single jet flame that resists breezes. A fuel window shows the gas level, and a pocket clip and contoured body make it easy to carry.
Seeing the fuel level and adjusting the flame by a big wheel make it simple to run. Fuel, warranty and refill details are missing from the listing.
Who it's for
Outdoor users and cigar fans get a jet flame and tactical-style toughness. Pipe smokers and candle users need a soft flame instead.
Pros and cons
- Fuel level visible at a glance
- Large flame adjustment wheel
- Cap doubles as a rest
- Low-profile pocket clip
- Fuel inclusion not stated
- Warranty not listed
- Jet flame scorches pipe tobacco
Performance notes
A jet flame burns hotter and tighter than a soft flame, which helps in wind but chars delicate material. Flame height sets fuel use, so a lower setting stretches each fill.
